Clean Up on Fraser Island
Easter 2019

P-Cubed team member, Halle, and her family spent their Easter holidays on Fraser Island, one of the most beautiful places on the planet! They couldn't believe how much plastic waste they collected in 45 minutes along an 80 metre stretch of beach. The vast majority has been brought in by ocean currents and washed up on the beach. Amongst the pollution they found:
* 18 plastic toothbrushes
* 209 plastic bottle caps
* 69 plastic fisherman's glow sticks
* 12 plastic
cigarette lighters
In total, they collected 11 big onion bags of plastic waste during their stay.
Every little bit counts!

Always leave a place better than what you found it!

To top it off we got to feed the wild dolphins. Thank you Eco Warriors Penny, Kylie and Hannah for making this spectacular day possible.
